Email Notifications

Configure email preferences for daily document backups and set up a secondary email address for notifications.

Daily Document Backup

Each team member can receive a daily email with a download link to a ZIP of that day's finished documents (public or public-indexable visibility only).

Enabling Daily Document Backup

  1. Go to SettingsEmail Notifications
  2. Toggle Daily Document Backup on
  3. Optionally enter a Secondary Email to also receive the backup
  4. Click Save

What's Included

  • Download link to a ZIP of finished documents generated today
  • Summary list and counts by template (if provided in the email body)
  • Link expires after the configured retention period
Daily summaries are sent only when there are finished documents for the day and visibility is Public or Public (not indexable). Draft/private files are skipped.

Secondary Email Address

When Daily Document Backup is enabled, you can optionally enter a secondary email that will receive the same notification.

Use Cases

  • Team backups: Send copies to a shared mailbox
  • Personal backup: Use a secondary personal email
  • Compliance: Archive notifications to a records system
The secondary email receives the same notifications as your primary email. Make sure you have access to this inbox.

Email Settings Scope

Setting Scope Description
Daily Document Backup Per user Each team member controls their own subscription
Secondary email Per user Personal backup address

Unlike organization-wide settings (date format, link display), email preferences are personal to each user account.

Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Emails

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Verify your email address in your profile
  3. Ensure Daily Document Backup is toggled on
  4. Check if documents were generated that day (no email if no documents)

Wrong Email Address

Update your primary email from your Profile settings, not the Settings page. The secondary email can be changed in Settings.
