Language Settings

PDF CreateMate is available in multiple languages. Configure your preferred interface language and understand how language affects your documents.

Changing Interface Language

Your interface language can be changed from your profile:

1. Click your profile icon in the top navigation
2. Navigate to the Language section in your profile settings
3. Choose your preferred language
4. Click Save to apply the change

Available Languages

Browser Language Detection

PDF CreateMate automatically detects your browser's language preference:

• If your browser language is supported, it's used by default
• Otherwise, the interface defaults to English
• Manual selection overrides browser detection

Troubleshooting Auto-Detection

If your preferred language isn't being detected:

1. Check your browser's language settings
2. Ensure your preferred language is first in the list
3. Clear your browser cache
4. Refresh PDF CreateMate

Document Language

Generated PDFs use whatever language you write in your templates. PDF CreateMate does not translate content—it preserves your exact text.

Multi-Language Templates

To support multiple languages in your documents:

1. Create separate templates for each language
2. Name clearly: Invoice_EN, Invoice_DE, Contract_EN
3. Configure identical property mappings for each version
4. Select the appropriate template when generating

Language-Specific Formatting

Some formatting automatically adapts to your settings:

Configure date formatting in Date Format and number formatting in Number Formats.

Language Scope

Each team member can use the interface in their preferred language while sharing the same templates and organization settings.
